A BAND |

Select the style of band that suits your musical requirements from the
pages of this directory. |
2 | Contact the bandleader or agent. |
3 |
Inquire about the: a)
availability of the group b) suitableness for your function c) cost. |
4 | Inform the bandleader as to the age group attending your function and any special requirements you may have (Bride’s first dance, anniversary announcements, speeches, etc.) |
5 | Establish any additional needs such as staging, piano, microphones, set-up times, etc., in order that the group can provide the best musical service. |

The bandleader will send you a contract to cover the engagement.
Check that the date, place, time and fee are all correct. |
7 |
Sign the
contract. Retain one copy and
return the additional copies to the bandleader. |

A
follow-up check by phone will ensure that the bandleader has received the
contracts back from you, and the date is
now a firm booking. |
9 |
During
the engagement, the bandleader will work closely with you to make your function
a success. |
